Health & Safety Advisory
Lead Soldering in Stained Glass Art
We prioritise the health and safety of the participants and are committed to providing a safe environment. It is important to note that stained-glass art involves the use of lead solder.
Handling Precautions
Direct contact with lead solder should be avoided and appropriate safety measures should be taken when handling.
Special Advisory for Pregnant Women
Lead exposure can be particularly harmful to pregnant women and an unborn child.
Therefore we are unable to offer this workshop to pregnant women or those who suspect they might be pregnant.
Safe Environment
The studio adheres to strict safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for workshop participants. We use natural ventilation and extraction and personal protective equipment (face mask, gloves and face shield) whilst cutting and grinding glass and soldering.
