Terms and Conditions for Stained Glass by Elaine Alexandra Workshops
Welcome to Stained Glass by Elaine Alexandra
These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services and participation in our workshops.
1. Definitions
"I/We/us/our" refers to Stained Glass by Elaine Alexandra.
"Participant" refers to any individual who books or attends a workshop.
"Workshop" refers to any stained glass crafting session provided by us.
2. Booking and Payment
Workshops must be booked in advance through the official website, by phone, or email.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
If you need to cancel your booking, please inform me at least 10 days before the scheduled workshop for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 10 days before the workshop will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
No refunds will be given for no-shows on the day of the workshop.
I reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule.
4. Age Restrictions
Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Minors may be allowed to participate by prior agreement and only if accompanied by a responsible adult.
5. Health and Safety
Participants are required to follow all safety instructions provided by the workshop facilitator.
Stained Glass workshops are not suitable for pregnant women or those who suspect they may be pregnant.
I will provide all the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). Participants must wear closed-toe shoes and are encouraged to bring a full-length apron. Close fitting Kevlar gloves is an optional extra which participants can bring to protect the hands whilst cutting glass.
We are not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur due to participants' failure to follow safety guidelines or instructions.
6. Liability
We shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury to participants or their property, except where such liability is legally mandated.
Participants are responsible for their own creations during and after the workshop.
7. Intellectual Property
Participants may use the skills learned for personal use but may not replicate the workshop for commercial purposes.*
8. Privacy Policy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during booking or participation in a workshop will be used for the purpose of conducting the workshop and related communications.
We will not share your personal information with third parties.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time.
The most current version will always be posted on our website.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a workshop, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
